About alphabetical order: We are following the common practice of disregarding such words as “a,” “an,” “the” and their non-English equivalents when setting alphabetical order in these lists. For example, the book A Place to Stand would be alphabetically ordered under “P” rather than “A,” and the magazine De Nationale Hitparade under “N” rather than “D.”
